Because of what I've seen going on in other states, I assumed grocers were no longer allowing reusable bags in stores so I have been using the tiny plastic ones that they provide, which are super ghetto and tear easily--ANYTHING to be a big hero and save lives that could be lost in the dumpster fire this country has become, right? But let me tell you, I am never ever doing this again, it was so annoying and so stupid and I guarantee that little greta girl that was calling everyone out about climate change (who is now apparently helping run the country along with the other "Dr.s" and "scientists") would not be too happy about all this excessive plastic. I could just buy less groceries, but when "they" tell you not to leave your house and you're also terrified of crazy people with guns walking around because they also have been told not to leave their homes, well, you don't leave until the food runs out and that basically inflates my grocery list...at least I can still afford to buy the food.
Also, it's nice that mass transit is back up and running for now, I choose to take it when I can because I thought reducing my carbon footprint was the move... although, given all the latex gloves I see thrown on the ground and the aforementioned overuse of plastic bags
