(Not Really) Recipe | Holiday Pasta

Okay, holiday-ish pasta--multicolored pasta always looks so festive though, doesn't it? Here's what you'll need:

  1. Alfredo sauce
  2. Pasta (of the veggie variety)
  3. Tomatoes
  4. Broccoli
  5. Some spice that tastes good with pasta
  6. A big ass pan and some frying oil
Total prep time: about 20 minutes

Step 1: Prep your tomatoes and your broccoli. Slice or dice the tomatoes to your liking; I kept mine in large rounds as seen below. Boil/steam the broccoli for a few minutes so they're supple and crisp. Set both aside.

Step 2: Cook the pasta and set it aside

You can drizzle on a teensy amount of oil if you're concerned about it getting sticky while sitting there.

Step 3: Very lightly grease and heat up a large frying pan (if you own a wok, it would work much better, actually):

...a very lightly greased pan--NO OILY ASS PASTA OKAY.

Step 4: Toss in those sliced tomatoes first and heat them up for a few minutes then throw in a little sauce along with all the rest of the ingredients. Carefully fold everything together while adding more sauce to your taste (I used like, half a 15 oz jar for about six servings) and you're pretty much done.

I don't endorse this brand in particular, I only bought it because it was on sale for $2.

You can store the rest for about 4-5 days or be a fatty and eat it all in one day.

I suggest serving with a piece of bread, because carbs goooooooood...
