Pictured above are shots of the unboxing of my very first Balenciaga purchase. As you know, I've been stalking the label ever since Demna Gvasalia took over in 2015 (I still remember the first intriguing piece I saw and thinking, 'now what's happening at Balenciaga all of a sudden?' because I've never been interested in anything aside from the city bag and I didn't think Alexander Wang made much of an impact). I am so happy with this purchase; it was literally the perfect size and color combo for summer--the pink interior is so glorious in person.

She made it just in time for one of my trips out of town (pictured above in my hotel). I accessorized with a fur bag charm that partially covers up the label, which honestly isn't my favorite aspect of the bag because I think it takes away from the unique design (the new 'bold label' trend is so gauche, right?).
The size is smaller than what I'm used to, but still fits all the essentials, here she is going to the grocery store:
And here she is visiting my mom's old house this past summer:
This bag has renewed my appreciation for the quality of certain high fashion luxury goods and I'm now eagerly awaiting the sales so I can finally advance my wannabe fashionista status and expand my collection.
