Nail Art | Matte Cheer

image
I recently read an article on xovain.com about "pick-me-up nail polish" and given my rather petulant disposition, I was intrigued by the idea...yeah, I'm kind of a Debby Downer sometimes, but I do believe in "happy colors" and the psychological effect they have.

I was inspired by the few days of glorious spring weather that has finally arrived and the new tuning point in my life; I wanted the look to symbolize a new bloom of positivity...ironically, I finished the manicure the day it decided to rain. Nevertheless, after looking at my nails all day, I'm already starting to feel better about the crappy peninsula known as Michigan.

Nail Art | Pastels for Fall

 Even though it's fall, I've wanted to do this pastel combo for a while...{Revlon "minted"; Essie "who's the boss"; Sally Hansen "whisper"; L'Oreal "pink penthouse"; China Glaze "peachy keen"}
 ...this look would have been perfect months ago; I went ahead and customized them for the season (and for a bit of a Halloween vibe) by sponging on Revlon's "blackout".
 Honestly, I did this because I'm really low on fall nail polish...I guess I'll have to add some to my wants list.

Any fall nail polish suggestions or favorites?

These nails were actually a fail

I had to edit them a bit to make them presentable. There were bubbles EVERYWHERE.

I'm trying again tomorrow.
