...I only got two little things from La Garçonne's current Black Friday sale--I even made the pictures small to prove how little they are. The discount certainly wasn't though, 70 percent off is no joke; I hope Shopbop and Net-a-porter get on this level because I'm not done...

2014 summer style regurgitation

...placed in order of appearance...

...so because this is still sort of a fashion/style blog, I figured I should finally post some of my recent style snaps taken on my days off from work. Moving, working and trying to catch up on an increasingly busier life has cut into my blogging time, but who cares, that just means I'll have more to blog about, right?  All of these looks, ranging from whimsical to minimalist (well, I think), were thrown together (read: meticulously selected) during the times I decided to leave my apartment to do more than just take out the trash.

As you can see, I'm still obsessed with some pieces and some are totally new (to be reviewed at a later date), but everything is basically a combination of my new luxe minimalism style philosophy and lack of fucks to give.

Yay fashuuun.

I remember coming back from class on my birthday to find that scarf draped on my desk chair. I was like, "Whose is this?" in an accusing tone, thinking she was yet another person I had to room with who had no respect for my space.

But she was like, "It's for you, I got it in Korea."

I don't know if she was just saying that because she thought I wouldn't like the scarf if she'd just got it at some random cheap store, but it's pretty much the only gift I've ever gotten that I actually appreciate but that's probably because I'm kind of a bitch.

Who doesn't want to laze around in soft lambskin? I love the slouchy fit of these Rag and Bone pajama pants as well as the functional belt loops and pockets. The material is actually very light so I'm totally rocking these with crop tops and sandals for late spring.

I've been sort of obsessed with alpaca due to the still freezing temps so I decided to pick up this sweater jacket, which more than satisfied my need for a cozy layer of warmth....plus the clean, neutral design makes for some easy winter to spring transition styling.
